Had my car serviced month ago and few days ago my engine temp sky rocket to hot mark on idling

Had my car serviced month ago and few days ago my engine temp sky rocket to hot mark on idling. I havent notice any leaks from engine bay so the next day i checked the coolant level. I had to pour in 1.5L of coolant by myself. After i left my car idling for 15 minutes and everythng worked normally. Seems like blokes in the workshop ''forgot'' to refill my coolant all the way to the top after they drained it. People watch out if you take your vehicles there, some proper dodgy activity.
