I am deeply outraged and frustrated with this company

I am deeply outraged and frustrated with this company. I have never experienced such discrimination against my autistic child before.

Initially, I applied for speech therapy, music therapy, and behavioral therapy services for my son. Evaluations were completed for all of these services. My son began speech therapy approximately three to four months ago.

During that same period, the company also evaluated him for ABA therapy and required a CDE test. I was informed that this test was mandatory, so I paid for it and completed all requested documentation and procedures.

For months, I continuously followed up regarding my son’s case — both by phone and in person. No one provided me with any clear information. The only response I repeatedly received was that they were waiting for insurance approval.

I personally contacted the insurance company to ask why my son’s therapies had not yet been approved, because he urgently needs support. The insurance company informed me that everything had already been approved.

After that, I sent an email requesting clarification regarding my son’s case. Instead of responding in writing, someone called me and informed me that my kid had been denied services.

When I asked for the reason, I was told it was because of his behavior. This explanation is completely unacceptable to me. The entire reason I am seeking ABA therapy is because my child needs behavioral support. His behavior is not severely aggressive, and I have personally seen children with much more severe behaviors receiving therapy services without issue.

I was then told that they did not have therapists qualified to work with Jacob. I do not understand why my child is being treated differently or discriminated against because of his condition and needs.

As a mother, I feel devastated, frustrated, and humiliated by the way this situation was handled. I genuinely believe the treatment my son received was discriminatory and completely unacceptable.

I have been seeking support for him both at school and at home, and after waiting for months, one person finally called me only to spend approximately 30 minutes speaking over me without allowing me to say a single word. I was not given the opportunity to explain, ask questions, or even speak during the conversation. I also have another recorded phone conversation regarding this matter.

I strongly advise families to seek services from a serious and professional company, because this experience has been extremely disappointing and emotionally distressing.

There is no justification for denying behavioral therapy to a child because of behavioral challenges. That is precisely why ABA therapy exists.

I am formally requesting a written explanation regarding this denial and the company’s decision-making process, they did a phone call instead, it means a lot for me.
