Unprofessional behavior and they will drain your money. 1 star only because Yolanda was a nice person who was trying to help me throughout the process but the firm loves to take your money. I saw bad reviews about them before hiring them but I was in immediate need of an attorney and they took my case within 24 h, initially I paid first for a call to get my case explained (for them to consider working for you or not), then I paid a consultation (be careful because it’s not the same type of call), later I paid $5.5k for a divorce and every couple days I got invoices sent to my email (my bad for not looking detailed at each of them at first) and realized I was getting overcharged for random stuff and I brought up this concern to finance on email - ignored, yet they called me 2 days later trying to “replenish” another $2.5k (it was only 1-2 weeks since case started and they only did a draft & sent a motion so can you even imagine if we actually went to hearings and moved forward with the whole case + custody??) and I asked them about the discrepancies on the invoices i.e. I got overcharged for specific amount of minutes for a phone call and I had proof it was less than what it stated, that was around $400!!! and their response was that he was going to talk to the team. However they still sent me another invoice without giving me any explanations. THANK GOD, the case was voluntarily dismissed by the other person, as soon as they heard this (since it was no longer convenient business for them) they ghosted me and NEVER heard back from the paralegal, attorney or anyone besides Marvin from front desk who has no idea of what to do. Actually I found out that the case was closed thanks to the county of clerk public records website lol. It’s been 1 week with no explanation at all, I even have a credit of ~$200 in the account and I bet they will just keep my money because that’s what they like to do. I tried reaching out to them multiple times last week, they called Jenna and no one has given me any answers or closure as case is dropped. They only want to keep charging me for whatever reason. At the beginning of my case I was assigned to a gentleman and we had calls that of course were charged!, and then they said I was getting switched out to Yolanda as my attorney because the first one wasn’t experienced enough, how is that my fault??? I got charged for every single thing and calls of course, I understand their work and their billing but their own mistake in assigning correcting my case costed me thousands of dollars, literally. Scam.
