Contacted Macca on the 14/06/25 in regards to a Nissan pathfinder.
Was met with kindness and respect. Was advised that he wanted to go above and beyond for my family and I was appreciative of that.
After looking at the cars online I decided to change my mind and try and a different car - Macca was understanding of this and offered help if needed in the future.
I messaged him back a day later after speaking with a friend who has the same car and was interested in purchasing it again. Macca was very helpful and answered any questions and even offered to come in and meet us at 8am (as it says on google) to open the shop for me so we could look at the car as we were travelling quite far and wanted to beat traffic.
However the night before my baby was sick so I messaged at 630am letting Macca know i wasn’t able to come in due to my baby being unwell and needing to be at home to care for them. I said would it be okay for us to meet at 9am the next day. He confirmed yes.
This morning at 7am I messaged Macca letting him know my fiance would be on his way to see the car as my baby is still unwell. He left early at 730 to drive to Williamstown to look at the car and be there by 9am as agreed. However when he showed up no one was there. On the same number I messaged Macca on he called him - Macca lied and told him that there was no agreed time and that he would be available at 11am no sooner.
When I messaged Macca he didn’t return my call and advised me he was busy. He told me that he waited 4 hours for me the day before and I was a no show which as advised earlier is a complete lie. He also lied to my fiance about not having a time to meet even though I also have a text confirming 9am.
When I advised Macca I was unhappy with the service and going elsewhere as he had lied to my fiance and we had driven so far - he threatened me with legal action for defamation when all of this is true and I was very unhappy with the experience. He has since messaged me multiple times trying to get my to change my review and or remove it and wants us to drive back to buy the car. I won’t be giving over 10k to someone that lied to me. Very disappointed because I truly believed him.
Have since been contacted MONTHS later literally begging me to remove this negative review. Absolutely ridiculous. I was threatened with legal action multiple times just for posting my truthful review.
