It started out with care and lots of phone calls. I was told NOT to miss any appointments because attendance would HELP my case. Going to the recommended doctors only hurt me financially when the liens were deducted out of my settlement. I was teased with physical and massage therapy that was cut off after a few sessions without any explanation why! I was in and still remain in EXCRUCIATING pain/scars from my injuries that will last a lifetime. The recording said I would be called back within 24hrs but eventually it took weeks for an update! The website advertises a lot of cash, but that only seems possible if you get hurt by someone last named Trump or Winfrey! No wages were garnished, and the responsible person got off pretty easy for me and my families lifetime pain and struggles. The settlement money came from my own car insurance, I could have filed that myself and got the whole amount!

I was in constant fear of eviction and behind in bills. I was not allowed to borrow from my settlement and racked up late fees until I had to finally move! When the case was over, I barely had enough to cover 3 months worth of bills/expenses. I missed out on thousands of dollars in lost wages and got nowhere near what I would have had if the accident had never happened. The law firm took their fees and medical charges for doctors that they RECOMMENDED. I was still left to struggle in debt! Had to learn how to walk again and stress over a case that was hardly worth anything after they deducted their cuts but refused me an advance so I could keep up with life expenses!

Eventually the lawyer seemed rude and irritated by my questions! It was very frustrating and some charges I still wasn’t told why all the extra was taken out! If I had known that I NEVER would have gone to their doctors because I still remained in pain anyway EVERYDAY constantly! I feel very taken advantage of and experienced a lack of communication. I know every case is different but at least be up front about things and stop advertising big pay days on your website! All I got were tears and more stress from something I could have handled better on my own. Now I regret trusting Lerner and Rowe and certainly will know better in the future. Other helpful suggestions I had to figure out on my own or just go without.

The time spent wasn’t worth it because I ended up not being better off than when I started, or being able to make up for missed income. My whole life was disrupted! I was left with barely anything to help me financially, they took the biggest portions, and I’m left with daily painful limitations and depression from this horrible nightmare! No pain meds/surgeries have been able to relieve my aches! The accident wasn’t my fault, and the guilty party can continue to live their life with minimal consequences! I hope others are more lucky and don’t feel ignored or misled!
