I chose this dentist because they were close by and took my insurance. Little did I know that was a mistake. The malpractice of this dentist was demonstrated to me when we talked about filling one cavity and one cavity only. Then when I get there they fill two cavities because one was really close to the other, which is fine, except for I wasn't told that there were 2, so after they filled the 2nd cavity, then they charged me for two cavity fillings. I was numbed up, and I was never told about a second cavity being filled that day and I could not feel a second cavity being filled since I was numbed. If a lawyer is reading this, let me know if you can get me back my $500. Their prices for cavities are high.

They told me that I have acid reflux and it seems that they just tell everyone that and they are referring people to see an acid reflux specialists no matter what, and the way they do it makes me afraid, that I must definitely go with this referral. However I know better so I did not go to this referral (more later).

Also after getting this two fillings my cheek started swelling really bad. I would not be surprised if they gave me an infection due to an unsterile needle or something when putting in my numbing because the first poke hurt more than normal for numbing but at this moment I don't really know what caused my cheek to swell. I'm actually still looking into that. I just wanted to add it here in the review in case it happens to someone else to see if there's some type of pattern going on.

I was also told that I needed a root canal and referred me to a specialist. So I decided to go get a second opinion.

When I was at this new dentist for a 2nd opinion, this one was in Circleville, their communication was very open and talked to me about everything that was going on while she was touching my teeth. The Amanda dental stay quite quiet. This 2nd dentist did not have any concerns about acid reflux, only that I grind my teeth at night which I know I do. The prices of the second dentist are actually reasonable. And they also take all insurances.

My warning is that if you go to Amanda dental, you are going to get scammed.
