Hiring Capital Remodeling was one of the worst decisions I ever made as a homeowner, I can't take back the money I wasted with them but I can hopefully use this review and hope that it sways other people from not using them in the future. The first problem is that they overcharge for everything, they are not the cheap option do not call them for that, they were priced high on every item I was charged for (which I didn't find out until later). Their design / salesman was lying to me from the start, when he arrived, I told them what I wanted done to the kitchen and what I thought would look good and where I wanted things to go, he made me a design that was close to my request and said they could make it work. When the final measurements guy came to do final review and finalize the order (after the down payment and financing was completed) he told me they wouldn't be able to use that design and that my kitchen would need to keep the exact same layout just with new cabinets, I asked if that would reduce the price or if I could be compensated and was told no. When the cabinets were delivered two of the pieces were for a different house and in a completely different design and color, so the project was delayed until they could figure out exactly where they needed to go and to recover my cabinets which some other poor customer also got delayed from their mix up. Then the real horror story began, the construction crew... the crew that was assigned to my job was some of the worst professionals that I have ever worked with. They were late multiple times, left early multiple times, did not show up multiple times, came without being scheduled multiple times (then yelled at me for not being home despite them not even supposed to be there). Multiple times they left for lunch noon and did not return or left to go get a part / tool from the store before noon and did not return for the day. Thanks to all this the renovation was also done very, very late, the expected date was June and they finished in August. Asked for compensation or reduction in price, was told no, but was offered an apology. Multiple times I had their manager come to inspect the project, listen to my complaints, say they would be fixed, they never were, empty promises every time. I will never use them again, everyone I talk to in person I tell to never use them, and now on the internet I am going to tell you to never use them!
