TOTAL FAIL. Last week I called the salon to make an appointment, and was sent to an AI bot scheduler. The bot scheduled an appointment with a new to me stylist (Catherine) at 10:45 am on Saturday, July 4th. I was concerned that this was a mistake because of the holiday, so I called on Friday just to make sure, and got through to a human at the front desk who confirmed that I did have an appointment and that Catherine was working that day. When I arrived at the salon, the desk was closed with a sign saying to contact your stylist directly. I didn't have a way to do that because I'm a new client, so I stood around for a while until I finally asked another stylist if they knew how to find Catherine. I got her number and texted her, and continued to wait with no response. I went home frustrated after wasting an hour of my Saturday. Nine hours later I finally got a text back saying, "Hi there it is 4. rh of July (champagne bottle emoji) today so sorry" . I don't know where the disconnect was between the AI scheduler, the front desk, and the stylist, but be warned if you're a new client.
