I normally don’t write reviews, but what this pawn shop did to me was beyond wrong. I saved up and spent nearly $400 — literally the last money I had — to buy a PlayStation 5 for my son’s 7th birthday. It was supposed to be a big surprise, something special. He was so happy when he opened it. He played it one time before it stopped working completely.

Turns out the HDMI port was loose and barely holding a connection, meaning they sold me a system that was already broken or damaged. I didn’t know much about game systems at the time, and I trusted them when they said it worked fine. But after realizing something was wrong, I went back to them — and instead of helping or offering a solution, they basically told me “oh well, there’s nothing we can do.” No refund, no exchange, not even an apology. Just zero accountability.

So not only did I waste all my money, but my son didn’t get the gift he deserved. All he had for his birthday was a broken game system and a mom with a broken heart.

I hope nobody else goes through this. If you’re thinking about buying electronics from here — don’t. They’ll sell you something faulty, take your money, and act like it’s your problem afterward. They do NOT stand by what they sell, and they clearly have no problem taking advantage of people.
